IF YOU BUY A NEW BLADE AND IT DOESN'T FIT WELL, MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE JUICE EXTRACTOR
Adjustment is to set the tolerance or difference between the end of the inside spout and the blade for proper cutting. To do this, turn unit on its side. You will notice in center of bottom a lock nut and a set screw.
Unlock the lock nut with a 7/16th inch wrench. With a screwdriver you can turn the set screw in center of bottom. By turning on the right, blade is elevated toward the spout.
By turning to the left, tolerance is greater between the spout and blade, as blade is now going lower. Unloosen set screw and while unit is still on its side, plug it in, turn it on and then turn it off. While it is still coasting, turn set screw in until you hear blade hit the spout. Un-turn one-half turn and you have a perfect setting.
While holding set screw in place, tighten lock nut. Your adjustment is now made. You may also want to squeeze down springs that hold lid on for a tighter fit.
